Hey, my friends. I started the first Retro-Scans (which is still up) in April 2008. Even before that, I had been writing hundreds of pulp reviews on Usenet (remember Usenet?). Thank you so much for all the enjoyment, Doc! I'm fairly new here as well, but after I had the good fortune to stumble across this (I still can't remember how), it immediately became just about my favorite sites on the entire interwebs. It's entertaining and educational, and the people who hang out here are a lot of fun. I learned something interesting and had some great laughs every day. I'm really going to miss it, and look forward to your return. Thanks for all your fine efforts--they have been greatly appreciated, sir!
