jsahdgasd I NEED A LICENSE I CANNOT WAIT ON HER TO TAKE ME EVERYWHERE. DAMMIT MOTHER.

Ah man, I wish I had more time in the world. I'd be much less STRESSED if I had another month to get my cosplay together. And then there is moving. Which we have to do by the end of the month.

Which so happens to be when Ohayocon starts. OGREAT

BECAUSE THEY ARE BOYLOVERS. AND BEING BOYLOVERS, THEY THEREFORE CANNOT LOVE THEIR WOMEN. sparta on the other hand is manly and masculine and...respect their women? (but afkdnoa adorable illustration is adorable)

D: Don't stress out about Ohayocon. It's meant to be fun~ and if your cosplays aren't 100% accurate, WHO CARES?

SPARTA WOMEN WERE MANLY AS WELL. :L They practically ran everything. The men did the grunt work, the women ran the city.

SPARTAN WOMEN WERE AWESOME.

Athenian (married) women on the other hand, were practically slaves in their own home. :< I'd gladly have been a Hetera or a Concubine, at least I could own property and GO PLACES. (sdgjasdgh You make me blush.)

I know, it's just I'VE BARELY GOTTEN ANYTHING TOGETHER AND IT'S A WEEK AWAY. But don't worry, I'm not that stressed. JUST A BIT FINIKY.

I'm really, honestly, really embarrassed to say that most of what I know of Sparta, I know from 300. WHICH IS HORRIBLE, SOB. (I haven't really studied Greece since like...7th grade. :( I think when I say I'm into classical history, I really mean I'm into classical mythology.) B-but yeah.

....that's kind of sad. Because I've always thought of Athens as COOL. But. :( (Corinth is still my favorite, not for any particular historical reason, but because when we WERE studying Greece in 7th grade, all of the table groups got assigned different city-states. And my table was Corinth.)

Well, good. :) Also I keep meaning to mention that that icon is socute. Am I right in thinking it's one of the characters from Watchmen?

I've always been horribly obsessed with Greek culture since middle school, so I kept on with it. Haha. But I think it's fine anyhow, most of this stuff people don't know unless they explicity look it up.

Athens IS cool if you ignore everything else. Philosophical capital of the world at the time. Even if they were a bunch of chauvinistic asses, they had some amazing thinkers at the time.
