Well, it - the bed - the emergency fire flash system and the light doorbell are supposed to cater to my being nearly deaf. The bed works in conjunction with the emergency fire flash system. A light goes off and the bed would have vibrated to wake me up. I decided against it since I never requested it.

Instead, I should have taken it and had some kinky fun courtesy of well-placed matches. Or...taken the damn thing apart and activate it when I want.

It probably has a "test" feature, as I think all fire alarms are required to. Think of all the fun we could have had...
