Och, I just last night watched the Dr. W episode where he accidentally leaves Madame de Pompadour behind, when he'd meant to take her along, and I cried!

And here the poor Doc is wondering if Jack'll leave him... *sticks out lower lip and wibbles at you*

But I love sad Cap'n Jack wanting to *be there* for the dying planet, and the whole Doctor/Captain idea is wonderful!

Oh, I LOVE that episode. David T is now going out with the actress who played M de P, sooo....*is jealous*

Oh sweetie, that was beautiful, thank you so much for the dedication :-) A pathetic gesture, it is not - having an enjoyable piece of fiction that makes me weepy and happy at the same time - is a very good thing :-) I really like your take on the Jack/Ten relationship, both men love each other, both are immortal so one would think a happy ending would ensue. But not in the case of these two chaps... And both being so insecure really tugs at the heart strings and oh, I loved the last line and Ten's voice is spot on as per usual ( ... )

Oh I'm ever so glad you liked it! There's a very much more cheerful one in the works at the moment (I'm not obssessive, I just focus intently...*g*) but I need some, erm, masculine help with some aspects...

That picture...I've got a scrummy one of Jack/Ianto as well. I love Theban Band.

Big, sloppy smooches back. And variety is the spice of life, so just get practising with the other hand!

First of all, that picture? *THUD* It took me about ten minutes to recover from that. :)

This was a lovely story, powerful and heartbreaking. Jack's confusion and pain was beautifully written. Yep, as far as I'm concerned, Jack and the Doctor definitely end up together.

“You can’t be sure of that, I can’t be sure of that. What you can be sure of is me, right here, right now, saying this: I love you, Captain. I’m always going to love you and why would I need to regenerate when you keep doing the dangerous stuff for me? I’ve never had such an easy time!”

*snickers* He's right! With Jack around constantly dying for him, he'll never have to use another regeneration!

I don't think I actually HAVE recovered from it; I feel it's what sent my brain into Ten/Jack slashy meltdown in a Big Way...

And it's what I'm secretly hoping for re the regeneration thing...we don't need another Doctor (although Paul McGann back again might be nice...) not when we've got DT!

Well, we've got DT for another two years so I'm not going to complain! I think Ten/Jack will be alive and well in my brain until the end of time! LOL
