Smallville Absolute Justice Chlollie Rewatch

I think I rewatched the Chlollie scenes all night to the point of falling asleep with my TiVo remote in my hand and I didn't realize it until my dad woke me up for breakfast this morning. LOL!

The first Chlollie scene with Oliver explaining to Chloe that those messages between him and Canary were purely platonic as if she'd questioned him was so

Yes. The entire thing was made of awesome. I've rewatched a ton of times already too. We are clearly addicted? Haha.

Yes to all you've said... But I must also include the scene with Oliver talking to Hawkman in JSA HQ about Hawkman's past lives & the love his life/lives.

Oliver: "I've never had a connection like that. At least, not one that lasted."
Hawkman: "Because you hide it."
Oliver: "Hide what?"
Hawkman: "You don't want anyone to know how important they are to you, so you act like a jackass."

And then Oliver goes on to talk about Hawkman's death wish and how he had one too...

The scene just made me think that was like an extra nudge for Oliver to begin seeing Chloe as more than just a friend.

And then the last scene with Oliver... asking Chloe (& the added appearance of MM) out to dinner. It's heading in the right direction. :D

I really love your interpretation of the Hawkman/Oliver conversation. I was feeling like that too!

Exactly what I was thinking! but then I saw his arm resting on the table lol, but it is so easy to just think he had it around her waist.
