Here's a I style myself an intellectual; this means that instead of obsessing over/deriving my identity from my media intake, I identify myself with the ideas, books, and authors that have shaped my big brain. This was a thought I had in the shower. Maybe a meaningless distinction or maybe just something worth holding on to. Don't want to forget it, there it is.
