we just got a butt load of new people on camp. they've been here for like a day and they're already complaining. i was in the head shaving and these two guys were complaining that there wasn't any hot water. give me a break. you're in iraq, not some freakin resort. when you're here for 6 months, then maybe i'll listen to your little complaints ( Read more... )

Sounds like someone is ready for his leave. I'm sorry things are getting to you lately Grant. If you need to vent you know where I am and I don't mind hearing it. I like knowing that you are letting off some steam. I have been emailing you. I don't know if you have been getting them. I guess Owen hasn't been getting them either. Hope you are having an ok day, (with the exception of this!)

Funny thing is these guys have it a lot better than what it was like when the war started.

seriously. in OIF 1 we had guys living in dug out holes, eating mre's the whole time. that's like guys here complaining when the internet goes down or is slow. i just want to be like, think about were you are and what you just said. it's ridiculous.

you should tell those people that they are lucky to have any water at all...cause if i remember correctly, ya'll were without water for a week or so! so when they complain, just tell them what they have to look forward to! :)

there is some elections goin on in october and december...it's supposed to get pretty rowdy then. i will do my best to check in with you. if i don't, don't worry...i've got a good bunch of marines watching my back.
