The joys of being a doctor, and apparently a parent

So I've been reading Jeff Vogel's discussions about his first year or so of parenting. Much of it is amusing, in a "smile and nod" sort of way. And then there was this, on TV and movie "newborns":

First, the baby always comes out impossibly clean. Second, it comes out impossibly huge. Now, instead of "How cute!", I'm more likely to say something

In fact, I believe there are laws against using babies under ~6 months old in filming.
