1 Sentence Challenge

In my brillance I did the 
1sentence challege for Jack/Chase.

#01 - Ring
It was a weird sort of wedding band, but Chase wouldn’t trade it for a normal ring; the scar on his wrist was a testament to how much Jack was willing to give for him.

#02 - Hero

They called him a hero, he told them to stuff it; there was only one person he wanted to be a hero for.

#03 - Memory

Chase screamed in his sleep; with tears in his eyes, Jack held the younger man as he relived that day in Mexico.

#04 - Box

Chase slid the silver case out of its black leather cover, glancing nervously over his shoulder; he suspected what it held, but prayed he was wrong.

#05 - Run

The drop of water traced its way down the lean lines of Chases back; Jack wished he could trade places with it.

#06 - Hurricane

A pissed off Jack Bauer was a lethal, but common, occurrence; a pissed off Chase Edmunds was rarer than a blue moon, but left more chaos in its wake than a hurricane.

#07 - Wings

Chloe ruffled her pinion feathers; guarding Jack and Chase was a chore and half for the angel, except at times like these when they slept peacefully, curled around one another.

#08 - Cold

Chase got cold when he was hurt, which is how Jack knew about the injuries he was hiding as they flew Meyers back to LA.

#09 - Red

When Michelle asked why Chloe was bright red, Jack laughed and Chase groaned and banged his face on the desk.

#10 - Drink

Chloe and Chase liked Southern Comfort, Jack preferred tequila, but with Chase gone, Jack found himself drinking the whiskey with Chloe.

#16 - Cover

Pressing an ice pack to the younger man’s head, Jack snarled, “Next time I tell you to duck, Chase, just do it.”

#17 - Promise

“I won’t leave you, Jack, not ever,” Chase swore even as the red stained his shirt.

#18 - Dream

Chase’s lips on his neck, on his mouth, tasting the younger man’s smile, Jack woke crying and reached for the phone to call Chloe.

#19 - Candle

Jack, arms crossed, watched from the door as Chloe examined Chase’s arm; “Next time,” Jack snarled, “watch your sleeves in Church.”

#20 - Talent

“You owe me forty-bucks,” Chase crowed happily at Chloe, “Jack surfs!”

#21 - Silence

It was the lack of sound that told Jack the man he loved was dead, the wet, sucking noise from the chest wound ceased with Chase’s heart.

#22 - Journey

“How can you listen to that,” Chase stormed over and shut off ‘Only the Young.’

#23 - Fire

Whiskey traced a burning path down Jack’s throat, trying to forget the pain in Chase’s eyes as the axe came down.

#24 - Strength

Everyone assumed Chase a lightweight, Jack knew otherwise; he’d seen the damage the younger man was capable of inflicting.

#25 - Mask

They had been ordered to attend the CTU Halloween party, so when Jack and Chase showed up as Butch Cassidy (Jack) and the Sundance Kid (Chase), looking very unhappy, everyone knew Kim had been involved.

#26 - Ice

Chase wrapped around the frozen Jack and hummed a half-forgotten tune his sister had sung to him when he was a child.

#27 - Fall

Jack wasn’t sure exactly when he’d been overcome by those smoky-jade eyes and the dreamy, little boy smile, but he was a willing victim.

#28 - Forgotten

Sometimes Chase wondered if Jack even remembered him, or if he was just another disregarded casualty in the collateral damage of Jack’s mission.

#29 - Dance

To Chloe’s glee, Chase agreed to let her teach him to dance, figuring he’d never use it; there was only one type of dancing he was interested in and that involved Jack.

#30 - Body

Jack had always marveled at the difference between him and Chase; Chase was all pale, lean muscle, and long graceful lines with a dreamer’s eyes, Jack was golden, broad shoulders, and obvious strength but his eyes were dead now.

#31 - Sacred

“Forgive me, Father,” Chase whispered as he pulled the trigger and his blood sprayed over the flag that rested on Jack’s coffin.

#32 - Farewells

Jack never said good-bye; the problem was he never said ‘I love you’ either.

#33 - World

There was just agony, not even black only red, then Jack’s voice in his ear, “Breathe, Chase, breathe.”

#34 - Formal

“Gah,” Jack fumbled with the bow tie, “Chase, I could use a hand here.”

#35 - Fever

“He’s definitely got a temperature,” Chloe confirmed the hovering Jack’s diagnosis, “take Chase home, I’ll deal with Chapelle.”

#36 - Laugh

Everyone was trying their hardest not to laugh out of self-preservation as a very flushed Jack Bauer, clad only in a towel, relentlessly pursued the snickering Chase across CTU’s main floor.

#37 - Lies

Tony couldn’t help but feel hurt, “I don’t care you’re sleeping with Chase, Jack, but why couldn’t you have just told me?”

#38 - Forever

They had a mutual agreement, when the time came Jack would do it for the both of them; he kissed Chase as he pulled the trigger, and then turned the gun on himself.

#39 - Overwhelmed

Great, Jack had gone and done it again; Chase sighed and extracted himself from under the unconscious man, “Why do you always have to pass out when we do this?”

#40 - Whisper

“Jack,” Jack pointedly ignored Chloe’s insistent voice, “I think my bloodhound program may have something on Chase current location,” that got his attention.

#41 - Wait

Jack was not a patient man, but after getting bruises from the shelving in the supply closet, Chase told him he’d have to wait until they got home before jumping him.

#42 - Talk

Jack didn’t do the ‘talking thing,’ his father told him it was for girls; Chase had three sisters, he knew all about the ‘talking thing.’.

#43 - Search

It seemed impossible, but this was real; Chase smiled as he pulled Jack from the Chinese holding cell.

#44 - Hope

Hope was a fool’s last defense against the inevitable; at least that’s what Jack thought until Chase Edmunds smiled at him for the first time.

#45 - Eclipse

Jack wasn’t a religious man, but as he watched Chase sleep, he prayed that his own darkness would never eclipse this man’s light.

#46 - Gravity

The first time Chase walked into work with a black eye, Chloe threatened to kill Jack; the second time she threatened to kill Jack’s stairs.

#47 - Highway

The bike growled powerfully under him; Jack grinned as he tore down the highway with Chase pressed close behind him, warm and willing against his back.

#48 - Unknown

Chloe clamped her jaw shut, retreating from the room and shutting the door behind her; how embarrassing, she would have knocked if she had known Chase and Jack were…otherwise engaged.

#49 - Lock

“Chase,” Jack admitted over the phone, “I need you to come down here and break into my car to get my keys.”

#50 - Breathe

Chase was curled on his side clutching his wrist; frightened, Jack demanded, “Breathe, Chase, breathe.”
