I'm in the middle of moving. I am keeping my U haul on the street for several days. If somebody parks behind me, I will not be able to lower the ramp, and my ability to load the truck will be compromised.

I was concerned that it was rude to leave the ramp down because it takes up parking. I have spoken to to two of my neighbors about it,

I think that you are being way to sensitive. You checked with your neighbors, they don't care. Who cares what some random guy thinks?
