If I were feeling magnanimous, I would say they left off the word "like" in a rush. That the photo was probably taken while she was discussing the incident with someone who handed her those bullets and asked if they were like the ones that hit her place, etc.

Yep. Even being generous, I don't know how she'd know they were "like" those, since the bullet would be pretty mashed up and the brass would of course not have been launched with it. That's why we have "ballistic forensic experts" and stuff. I bet they are feeling pretty threatened right now knowing that any "elderly" Iraqi could take their jobs in a heartbeat. It would be leading the eyewitness in any event, and flat out using her to set up a scene out of whole cloth more likely.
