The only time I saw the Pumpkins was HOLY CRAP 1989, or whenever Gish the EP came out, in Philly at Khyber Pass Pub. Billy had hair (some sort of bob) and short corduroy pants as was the Chicago thing at the time. The band came up to the second story bar where anyone could go and hung out at the bar. I stood in the bathroom line with Jimmy and talked to him about how long the line was and I was afraid I was going to miss the show, and he said, "you can't, because I'm the drummer, heheehehehehe".

There were metal fans there, and alt fans there, and it was an awesome show and yay! I miss the old pumpkins. Not that ego crap. Ugh.

I've said it in the past but I wish I could have seen the Pumpkins on their Lollapalooza tour in 94. I started going in 95 and Hole was scarcely a replacement. To see most of that source material live and in person, I don't know I may have given up a limb. Watching Vieuphoria must have spoiled me.

There's a lot of good albums to me that come and go, but Siamese Dream will always be my number one.
