I always feel like I'm prying when I view and, subsequently, respond to the dreams of others. However, the content of this dream intrigues me quite a bit...

[A pause]

Forgive me for taking so long to actually speak with you, it's something I've been meaning to do for quite some time. I'm Lelouch.

I believe I heard Naomi, perhaps somebody else, mention you once or twice in conversation, and I'm always interested in speaking with the intellectuals of Somarium. It seems finding those with even the slightest bit of intellect or common sense can be quite a daunting task in Somarium.

[He pauses, a small laugh escaping from his lips]

Forgive me, I know this sounds awfully foolish of me.

It doesn't. You are correct in you assessment.

[He sighs but otherwise seems rather neutral about the situation.]

Ah, [Noticing the sigh] If it's something you'd rather not discuss, I completely understand. Dreams are a very personal and extremely private matter that Somarium treats as if nothing more than petty gossip, sharing them and passing them around on a whim, showing anybody who is willing to watch. It's unfortunate that we've so little privacy in this world.

You've some sort of power, am I correct? I shouldn't be surprised by things like this, given the people that I've met in Somarium thus far, but it still catches me off guard.

Nor is reality. Yet we constantly accept that as truth.

Those who simply accept reality as truth without questioning or challenging it are foolish to do so, for what we may think to be reality may be nothing but a lie.

Then reality is but a dream. How appropriate to find ourselves in a dream world.
