There's nothing like the unconditional love of a furry friend.

A zillion times back at you, bbs.

Ain't that the truth. Various cats I've had have played a pivotal role in my not having a nervous breakdown during tougher times. Even if they can be destructive....and throw up on your clothes....and wake you up at 6 AM because they think they're starving......

For sure. When I got them, they brought me back to life.

But yeah, what's up with puking on my clothes? I'd like to understand the evolutionary origin of that bizarre instinct! That, and the innate knowledge that a claw up my nostril will make SURE I get up, where eyelid-patting and head-butting fails.

I'm glad they're able to make you feel good. :o) I miss cats in my life. My in-laws are all dog people, and the dogs they have are all really sweet darlings, but... it's just not the same. At all.

When I wrote the above post, it was because one had curled up in my lap, and the other one snuggled in beside me...and I just freaked out with all the love!!! (Though I'm at least 80% sure that the prime reason they cuddled was just to steal some body heat.)

I grew up with dogs (who I also loved desperately) but I don't think I'll ever return to dog-owning. The cats are an endless source of entertainment and friendship!
