seeing as i have a copy of the movie (a gift, i don't spend money on quality movies) and i have children, also knowing that kids enjoy repetition well more than it is adult humanly possible, i challenge you that i may very well have seen this movie more than you. i have watched it till my eyes have bled. and yeah, i do rather agree. i am always surprised how much i enjoy it.
no, but seriously... how many times have you seen it? i want to say i am in the ballpark of the 70s. *makes cringy face*
Dude, I was an IMAX projectionist. (If i have a record, it would specifically have to do with live screenings.) I would estimate that in its original run in our theatre, I saw it at least in the 70s. Then we re-ran it a few months later (due to Warner Brothers' capitialistic greed to cash in on a good thing) but I don't know how many times I watched it then. I haven't watched the DVD very often because it's highly depressing to view it so small. But heck yeah -- kudos to your kids and their capacity for repetition of a good thing!!
also, i feel the same way about the tininess of TVs. i wish i had seen it more than once in the theater. my tiny plasma (19 inch. hehehe) is no match for having a blueray dark knight copy. so sad.
