My office mate mocks me because I haven’t spent a weekend at home for a month. I didn’t mention seeing friends in Baltimore, or this weekend’s time away hiding in the woods. I’m back now, and ready to keep hiding rather than go back to work tomorrow

I don't understand how you can mock someone with something positive... It sounds awesome to have something fun and interesting to do every weekend for a month. And it seems like you had a great time with your sister and her kids. :o)

Boy, do I wish my country had 'woods' to speak of where you could go rent a cabin for the weekend. Although, there's the Ardennes... It's about time I headed up there again.

Well, she teases me, at least: "Are you going away this weekend too? Of course you are!" But no, of course it's not negative. It's nice that someone thinks I have a life, so I don't mind telling her :)

This visit was quite a change from last time -- everything is still snow-covered, and snowed all day Friday!
