Well isn't this interesting!

I've been hearing quite a bit about this "LiveJournal" thing lately, especially seeing as how Ellie, Zoey and Annie all have one, and so I decided to join the wave and get a journal myself. I haven't had a journal for...well, let's just say I was 17. But this might be nice to have; it could be useful to have another place to vent. Plus, I can ( Read more... )

Hey Mrs. B. Do you think I could get advanced notice on the objectives from you, instead of you sending my Harpy ex-girlfriend around to frighten the junior staffers?

Why Josh, weren't you the one who told me, "If you want your agenda taken seriously, put a professional face on it"? And wouldn't that professional face be my Chief of Staff?

That was before I knew you were going to pick the Wicked Witch of the West Wing.

I'll never understand why she didn't kill you when you said things like that. And anyway, she has helped my agenda to be taken seriously. So don't criticize my decisions, jackass.

Speaking of killing, how's your blood pressure?

It's good to see you too, Danny. How are you and Gwen doing these days?

I've had better months, ma'am, thanks.

Gwen is wonderful, getting to be smarter than her father - of course, that's not hard ;) And she's rather precocious as well.

She's coming in for Thanksgiving...if you'd like to finally meet her.

Of course I'd like to meet her! I'm not sure where I'll be come Thanksgiving though. Jed wants to go up to Manchester, but I'm trying to talk him out of it.

Hello, Dr. Bartlet! Glad to see you've been roped into this brand of insanity with the rest of us. It's a nice way to keep in touch.

Congressman Seaborn! How nice to hear from you. I'm glad you're at least a little happy to see that I've got one of these crazy journals. Zoey, I'm afraid, didn't take it too well. But anyway, congrats on your reelection!

Thank you, ma'am.

I totally understand. I'm not so sure I'd want my mother poking around here, either. Then again, you're considerably more knowledgeable than she is about these things.

Zoey and I worked out some "boundries" and so I think we're okay (about the LiveJournal) now. I like it though (it being the journal)--it's nice to be so connected to everyone, since life is so busy at the White House.

I like being able to check up on people...like Josh. Which reminds me...you should ask him about his health and if he's made a doctor's appointment yet.

How's life as Congressman from the California 47th?

Hello Dr. Bartlet, good to see you here.

Can I suggest an item for your agenda next year that got cut from this year's health care bill? Increased funding for breast cancer research, bringing it up to the same level we spend on prostate cancer research. In case you'd like to sic Amy on Josh.

It's going at the top of my list! That should never have been cut from this year's health care bill. Just because Congress is full of old white men does not mean that breast cancer research isn't important. Of course funding should be at the same level as what's spent on prostate cancer research. Thanks for reminding me, CJ. If you have any other suggestions, feel free to let me know.

Sup, Grandmother Dearest?

And what you're saying is that it's been a loooooong time since you've had a journal? Anyway, Welcome. Hope you enjoy it.
