Cheap Webhosting

Oct 29, 2007 15:45

Needing to set up a small business related website. I need a domain name, and probably no more than a few gig. Data transfer over a year wouldn't be massive either. Suggestions starting from 1p onwards please!

Actually, reliability would be nice too.

If 6 bucks a month isn't too much for you:

There's lot of cheap crap out there as well.

And you could make it even easier by sharing it between a few people.

Nice, cheers for that! Looks a decent price, 3 quid a month is probably doable. And thinking about it, can use the surplus space for other websites, when I get round to them.

Theoretically, as in you're planning to use 'em?

As in, they registered my domains and the hosting's running fine, I've just got to get around to something sensible like, I dunno, *finishing a damn website*

Gotcha... motivation and distraction. It's too easy to find something else to do! I'm learning to leave the browser closed when doing more important stuff at the computer.

You could try fishing about access-space, which is something to do with hippies in the town center.

They will give away free hosting if you can convince them that you are somehow a hippy too. I think.

Wait.

Actually, I've just remembered they're a bunch of bloody muesli-eating lefty-wefty uber-geeks, with a social conscious, moral high-ground, a copy of the guardian and a burning missionary goal of making tramps use really difficult Linux, or something. I'd pay the six bucks if I were you.
