My 15-year-old son died from an epileptic seizure on March 15, 2008 when he aspirated and literally choked to death. He was otherwise very healthy, bright, and good looking. He started out on a fishing outing and never came home. Epilepsy is a 24 HOUR--360 DAY--NIGHTMARE!!! and should never be taken lightly. Humor is OK when it's shared with the victim. We joked with my son often about his "weird" antics, but it should not be used to belittle or discriminate. Sometimes "What goes around, comes around" can be very painful.
