Hello!!! It's wonderful to hear from you. I'm glad you had a lovely trip, though you had to work for part of it.

(I just finished marathoning the Dr. Who spin-off Class last weekend, and so when you said 'a chapter in which the doctor' my mind flashed to Dr. Who and I was like, I didn't know she watched that, lol!)

hey there! Yeah, I am actually a Dr. Who fan -- Ten is my Doctor, and I loved Twelve's recent outing with River Song -- and fully intended my references to myself as the Doctor (eg, "the Doctor writes/betas/travels") to be ironic nods to the series. Plus in Guy Gavriel Kay's novel from whence my username derives, Jehane is in fact a doctor. it's the little things that amuse me!

Thanks for stopping by! Hope you've been as well as can be, living under the Revolution. Thinking of you ♥

Ahaha, okay! I'm glad my first instinct was right. *g*

Thank you! I'm trying to pretend that it's all a very bad dream instead of a horror story in reality. :(

You always had good instincts ;)

And, yes, we've definitely veered into dystopian AU territory, and not just you guys in the US :( Stay safe, bb.

You didn't tell me you saw Ramin! I mean, maybe he didn't come out (AHEM), but even so! Though, I admit I would've choked to death if I'd suddenly gotten a Jay/Ramin selfie on my phone, omg.

"Built for Longing" sounds like the title of a Ramin/Hadley fic I want to read.

Also, Ramin continues his habit of staring at people while he's singing. (That dude next to him is cute, though.)

That guy beside him is in fact the fabulous Norman Bowman, who did stage door and signed on Ramin's face, so there was certainly a healthy rivalry going on there. A healthy chemistry too! Though Ramin is going to have chemistry with .. (wait for it) a brick wall ;)))

srsly, Norman was so lovely! am also a bit smitten with him <3

aaah, no Jay/Ramin selfie! I'll get you next time, Karimloo. In the meantime, at least I scored with his co-star...

OOOh, so there's a chance words you said at least got back to Ramin! "I came for Ramin, but stayed for you." That's gonna be a THING, I bet! ;)

Yes, Ramin could sing the phone book and have chemistry with a brick wall. Who even is this guy, anyway?

LOL, your Will pic is killing me. And, yeah, I am hoping Norman did brag to Ramin, somehow ;)

YES. WHO EVEN IS THIS GUY ANYWAY? (Earl is far sexier ;))

That sounds like a fabulous experience! I'm glad you enjoyed the shows so much and had such great stage door moments to take home with you (even if Ramin was a no-show, boo!). ♥

I'm a little jealous because I really, really wanted to see Murder Ballad. I'd hoped to make it to London in early December before it closed, but there was just no time and the flights were horridly expensive. Woe. I would have loved to see Ramin and Kelly on stage again. One of my co-workers went and he wasn't impressed by the show itself, but loved all the performances.

yeah, I was a bit disappoint that Ramin was a no-show, but I get these things happen, and the stage door experience is a privilege and not a right. I'm just going to have to try again!

And, aw, it's too bad you missed Murder Ballad :( It was definitely worth catching. The reviews were pretty mixed, but I think they generally praised the cast, so I went in expecting to love the performances and wasn't disappointed -- and liking the music and book was a plus!

Ramin is touring in the UK next year, right? Maybe if you have some down time you might manage to wrangle that. I have vague Anastasia on Broadway ideas, but nothing concrete ;)
