So very figuring out Victoriana at the moment. At present I’m really pleased with how we’re doing.  Something I’ve realised is that if you tally up everything you spend on a game, it’s totally impossible to break even.  Seriously, if it’s not a labour of love, then you’ve not got a chance. The rules are really shaping up and the background is

£75 seems very reasonable to me.

I've only paid to go to a LRP event twice (Maelstroms) and then I realised the awesomeness of being a green-hat. So the majority of my LRP experience is through a crew perspective. If required, I would be happy to pay a bit of cash towards my food provision, up to say £15. But as a first aider who might be called on at any time of the day or night I would expect to not pay anything and have travel reimbursed (in effect, 'being paid' about £30-40).

I would pay about £80 for such an event, though if all goes well I may be a trifle too busy in September to larp.
