The Wraith had all been taken care of. Nick and the other pilots had bought the people on the mainland back to Atlantis. And now was everyone's chance to catch their breath before the hectic pace of their normal Atlantean days caught up with them again

"mmhmm" He replied lying on the couch, his arm thrown over his eyes.

He follows the sound and crouches down next to the couch, so he's on eye-level with the marine. In a far too practiced manner, he quickly scans across Nick's body for any obvious, outward signs of injury.

"Everything ok darling?" He asks, once he's satisfied himself and leans in to drop a gentle kiss the hand covering Nick's face. "Just tired?"

Nick nodded removing his arm and running his hand down the back of Cal's neck. "YEah just tired." He murmured pulling him in for a kiss.

He kisses him back feverently, a mixture of relief and terror pouring into it. His hand falls on Nick's shoulder and he rubs it absent mindedly as the kiss deepens.

"Come on then, bed." He pants, more than a little breathless after they part. He stands up first then reaches down for Nick's hand and pulls him up, taking a lot of his weight.
