He got home early that day, eager to share his news with his lovers. Unfortunately neither of them were back yet. They'd only moved into the new, larger quarters that McGregor had suggested to David a couple of weeks ago and the place still seemed eerily quiet and impersonal. But at least now they had an fully-fitted little kitchen. Much better

Nick walked in quietly just after Cal had placed the last one. He walked in setting his gun on the side before spying the kitchen. "Ummm...Cal?" He called out poking the green liquid with the end of his finger.

He's just about managed to get the worst of it off him, though his hair still has specks of white and he's a little green around the edges. He's almost made it to the shower when Nick came in. Following the voice, he walks over to him and sees him staring in horror at the kitchen.

"Oh right...I was going to clean that." He says, sheepishly, flushing slightly. "Really, it's your fault. You should be here when I cook." He adds with an uncertain grin.

Nick chuckled softly and started pulling things into the sink. "I'll remember that." He replied taking his jacket off to clean up in his t shirt. "Why were you trying to cook unsupervised?" He asked amused

He starts helping to pile things into the sink, stopping momentarily when he passes Nick to kiss him gently on his newly exposed neck. "I was trying to do something nice for you and David." He huffs in an exaggerated hurtful voice. "Last time I attempt that."

He kisses him back, tasting the chocolate back from his lip. "Hey, that was my reward for all this help." He complains mildy, laughing against Nick's lip. The kiss turns deeper, more passionate and Cal's hands start working up Nick's shirt. "So we have like an hour until the stuff cooks right?" He asks with a smug smile, kissing his lover again.

"Like?" He asked amused, "What turned you into a valley girl?" He asked amused before kissing him back and nodding, 2yeah about that much>" HE murmured. Cakes less though."

"Must be my heroic football jock that did the trick." He smiles back, pulling the T-shirt off completely. "That's plently of time." He says with a sly grin as he starts to suck on one of Nick's nipple, flitting his hand across the other one. "Lots we can do in an hour." He murmurs back.

Nick shuddered leaning back against the table his eyes closing in pleasure. His body growing a little flushed as he pulled at Cal's shirt>" WHy did you have to put on clothes after your shower." He mumbled.

He stops laughing but there's still a wide smile on his face. "Nothing." He says quietly. "Just happy." He twines his fingers with Nick as he lays there, feeling Nick's heartbeat under him.

Nick smiled, "Oh good was starting to wonder about my technique then." He chuckled softly.

He chuckles alongside him, holding on tight across his waist. "Oh believe me, you have nothing to worry about."

"Oh but I have to compete with you, that's a tall order you know." He chuckled nuzzling into him, kissing the skin of his collar bone.
