Her return was spoiled for me by a friend, but even though I knew she was coming back, I still freaked out very massively. Definitely Capaldi-level freaking out.

It was spoiled to me by... well, me :) By the time I saw this episode I had watched the Rose/Cloen kiss from Confidential about fifty times :D But I actually thought she would sort of pop out of nowhere in the season finale without any foreshadowing or whatnot, so I squeed and flailed quite a bit when I saw this scene :D I'd say Smith-level freakout.

Yeah, I had somehow remained unspoiled at this point, besides Rose's appearance in Partners in Crime being an obvious tipoff to this -- so I was full-fledged Capaldi-freakout myself :D
