Reporter 1: Is it true that the hospital takes numerous uninsured patients knowing that it will take a financial loss? Me: Patients is such a constructed and assuming word for the population that exists within the hospital, who are seeking and receiving treatment. I just read a review of the DVD of Thank You For Smoking, I think somewhere on the Onion online, that mentions that the film contains NO actual onscreen smoking. IS this true? We need to watch it again to confirm.
I believe that it is true. I have been racking my brain about this for a little bit and do not remember any character in the movie smoking. I think that closest that you get is when Eckhart is watching a movie and someone in the movie is smoking. Otherwise, it is just talked about between Eckhart and various characters and it is mentioned that Eckhart smokes.
