[Hey man, co-worker just a-walkin' on by when he notices Science happening and decides to get a better look. Ah, animal experimentation. How droll.]

I've heard that the drones are unaffected by the happenings of this town. Surely the native animals are included in this.

[The Doctor turns his head towards Crane. He's obviously a colleague. How interesting that he seems somewhat nonchalant with the current state of the room.]

My, is that why nothing happened?

[Taking a syringe, the Doctor takes its cap off and after absorbing enough oxygen... he injects it into the pigeon. It didn't have much more of a use.]

How peculiar. Then it seems droning doesn't only change a person mentally, but physically as well. Have you looked into this, Doctor... What is your name?

[When it comes to dealings with science, the Doctor is all ears. He leaned closer to where Crane stood and couldn't be more obvious with his interest.]
