[There is definitely something off about the plague doctor today. First, he was a bit suspicious of the pumpkins, though found them rather pleasant and curiously well-made. Then he thought he caught a glimpse of one of the old villagers faces on one, but quickly moved on and tried to block it out of his mind.
Then he stopped at a pumpkin with a face that no one else has seen, or should ever see. A shallow, gloomy eyed, long face that would normally appear to be quite normal to any of the other residents. A certain face that should always be hidden under a mask, regardless of the air. Of course they could not carve a simple bird mask into the pumpkin. That would be too pleasant. Well, certainly can't have this thing just sitting there.
Malkus plucks the lantern from its stake, lifts it high above his head, and roughly tosses it into the ground. Of course it doesn't smash. Why would it? The doctor tries to make up for this by kicking and stomping at it with his foot, eventually caving one side of it in. Anyone passing by will see the awkward man breaking his own pumpkin into pieces with his feet and eventually kneeling down to pull pieces apart with his hands.]
