Ah, that would be the hallways of the barracks! Rather strange, as I am quite sure that I would remember such surroundings with great detail! I had been under the assumption that I'd simply navigate through memory, but it seems that I've wandered into an unfamiliar room... As far as consequences go, being lost in the dark is rather tame in comparison to other things that could be happening... So there's that!

I was on my way back to my room, in one of the barrack hallways, when I tripped a bit and some liquid wax had snuffed out my wick. It was very clumsy of me and I'm already regretting it...

I can't find much of anything at the moment! This room is almost suffocatingly dark and empty.

Quite alright, I wouldn't expect such from a fellow resident. Better to be in the safety of the fires 'n all. And I've heard much the same. I suppose I shall simply have to wait and see what fate awaits me. At the very least, I have this journal to keep me company!
