Where did you find the devanagari texts? It doesn't look like old sanskrit - at least the words are foreign to me.

HEH! Of course the linguist caught it. That's faux-Sanskrit...It's just English done out in a Sanskrit font. I stood before the gargantuan task of trying to find authentic Sanskrit phrases that were actually appropriate to the conversation going on on that page, and said "fuck it." :-D

...of course, if YOU knew of any authentic Sanskrit phrases I could stick in that would fit in the space provided -- well, I couldn't pay you, but I would totally credit and thank you. DO you in fact know the ancient Sanskrit for "You are such a doodoohead?" "YOU'RE the doodoohead!" ;-) (But I fear nobody but another linguist or perhaps a Hindu-religion scholar would notice either way!)

Ah!! Heh heh! Nice one, Sarah. For a while you took me for a spin, as the indefinite pronoun yas "that, which, who" before a voiced consonant turns into yo - so I was reading the first line: "Yo sherstidhteda ... no, that can't be right, the sandhi is way off!"

Unfortunately I don't know that many informal words in Sanskrit. I'd suggest you keep it the way it is. :o)
