Holiday season, but vacation's over
Trip to and from Denver was successful. Though 70 West is FAR more scenic and aesthetically interesting then the vast wasteland that is 80 West, I don't know if its worth the extra 3 hours it takes to drive. Still, its an interesting alternative

Here's Memere H's recipe:
Shepherds Pie a la Mere Hevey
2 TBSP of oil
2 large onions
in a large skillet for 2 minutes on medium
Put in ground beef, 1 lb.
Cook on medium for 3 minutes.
Add 1 can of creamed style corn, stirring.
Boil 4 potatoes for 10 minutes.
Mash potatoes with butter, 2 tb.
Put all meat and corn in a baking dish, mash potatoes on top
Bake at 400 for 45 minutes.
Good for leftovers!
