if you're looking for some perspective...goatmasterflashOctober 16 2006, 18:36:16 UTC
I finished my bachelor's degree at the age of 25. Now I'm on track to get my RN (associate's degree) around the age of 30. At this rate, I'll probably be finishing my second round of middle school right in time for a legitimate mid-life crisis.
28 ain't old. Old is old. And for that matter, students are never old. So you're safe.

Old is old is old is relative.
I'm feeling old right now. Maybe it'll get better. All these people around me tell me that 28 is "a great age". "A nice round number." Now 30, that's a nice round number. Can't friggin' wait.
Bah. It'll blow over. In the meantime, I write random, awkward flashback scenes filled with bad pop culture refs and lots of violence about imaginary characters based on imagined personal qualities that a small handful of NC people USED to read. This scene, in part, helped establish a backstory for a fictional character (actually a member of a supporting cast... for a fictional character) that I have already KILLED. That's actually rather depressing.
Maybe I'm not old, but I am a just a tad bit out of my mind.
