Monday had dawned and soon found Wilson cooking, as was tradition on Labor Day!

Kaname was out for a walk. It seemed like she took quite a lot of walks since moving here. To spite the weather, she'd put on a sun dress and hat with a big floppy brim. And it would be way out of character for her to walk straight past without even a peek. So, peek she did.

After a moment, she was peeked back at, though in a friendly manner as Wilson was quick to smile and motion her to come in if she wished.

Oops, caught. Kaname grinned sheepishly and walked over to the kitchen. "Hi! Sorry, I didn't mean to stare but I wondered what you were cooking."

"Hello and I'd be more hurt if you didn't stare," he said with an easy smile.

"Let's see here, I'm making a creole sauce for fish and shrimp, smoke BBQing a half a pig for supper, which I'll also be grilling some chicken, hot dogs, hamburgers, and portabello mushrooms for as well ... and I think I might make a key lime cheesecake for dessert."

He paused and then grinned.

"Care to stay for dinner?"
