Thanks! We're quite relieved - and now we know he crashes a few days after his chemo treatment, so it won't be so hair-raising next time.

And apropos of your comments on FB as a time sink - I know what you mean! I've pared my friends list pretty ruthlessly, and still a daily check-in is required to stay up to date. But even a little thing is surprisingly effective at maintaining the ties - like how much I appreciate the daily Kidnapped! requests - you've been centrail to my slow progress towards that next set of abduction methods! :-)

I find it a trifle difficult to consider using Facebook game applications on others as "keeping in touch" with them... but I suppose that even a completely trivial and impersonal connection is a connection nevertheless. At any rate, that's what I shall now tell myself to justify it.
