In Which I Undertake a Project

I have a new resolution to put out there, dear reader.  After making the decision to step away temporarily from coaching football, and hoping that some time might be freed up by that decision to do some "creative stuff", the last part of the summer and the first few days of school have provided some revelations

Makes perfect sense to me. I've discovered that, unless truly inspired by a need to create (or unless I'm collaborating with someone else, in which case it's the social aspect of creation that sparks me), I'm not really excited about writing. Heck, I can usually fit things that I think about in 140 chrs for the most part, so Twitter suits me fine. I mean, I know from my piano that making the effort to squeeze in even a few minutes every day makes a difference in my abilities such that I want to play more, but even that, I've let slide for the time being because my focus is elsewhere. Why push it if the desire isn't there?

Looking fwd to your ruminations! Will be interesting looking back on it as the year progresses.
