Author's Notes: The first line just came to me and then...well, I had to come up with a reason to use it. *laugh*
Danny and Jonny come from a very close family, where lots of physical contact is a fact of life. Naturally, they'll be touchy-feely with each other. Unfortunately, with the history of Blue/Gold pairings following them, they'll occasionally have to explain that they're related and ew. (I have way too much fun with that.)
I'm actually happy with the title. Because it fits and there's a double meaning. Yay!
Inevitable Teasing
Jonny's face is in his crotch and Danny's sure someone is going to say something. Probably the new kid, who doesn't yet know that they're actually related. Or heck, maybe from 'Last, who likes to ignore facts in support of his delusion that he's funny.
Danny accepts this inevitable teasing and moves on.
There's no use dwelling on it, because he doesn't have the heart to move Jonny. Because this is the first time his brother has slept in...probably the past four days. Danny hasn't been with Jon that entire time, but he knows the signs. He recognizes the odd twitches and the jerkiness in the man's movements that indicate a body constantly reminding itself to be awake.
He doesn't know what's been keeping Jonny awake, just that his brother's finally been given a reprieve and he'll be darned if he's letting anything interfere.
"Hey Gold--"
Danny has an arm raised, blaster charged, before 'Last finishes saying his name. The man's eyes widen to comic proportions, crossing to stare at his fist. With his other hand, Danny lifts a finger to his lips in a shushing motion. 'Last's eyes dart from his blaster to his finger and back again, then he nods.
Either he gets it, or he gets that Danny's serious. Either way, Danny is grateful to him for not pressing it.
Silently sighing, Danny leans back and lowers his hands, one to the armrest and one to Jonny's shoulder.
Besides, if anyone gets teasing rights, it's him. Just as soon as Jonny wakes up.
