So, for those of you wondering, the fuss in my last entry was a threefold.
First, what I was talking about was finishing Angel (mostly). It's been a huge influence on my life and being over makes me think of all the other things that are ending, and, of course, the show provided me some sense of escape, and that's sort of gone now

And at least you'd be willing to show your family what you created. If I ever made anything that got published or distributed or somehow put into the public's eye I would just hope my family never saw it. Because I'd be worried how it would make me look in their eyes.

Well, you'll just have to wait basil_juice. You can be disappointed along with everyone else. I'm not going to make your disappointment unique.

As far as "showing" my family my work, it's more that I am at this point thinking I'm going to be in the film industry at some level. In which case, it might be odd to say oh I did the dialogue editing for this documentary but uhm... you guys can't see it.

When I showed my mom the films I made for class her response was. "Is that how you see the world? Full of violence?" I guess I shouldn't ever share my love of Fukasaku with her. Le sigh.

See, at that point I would just lie. I would make up a job that wasn't my real job. Well, I guess dialogue editor wouldn't be that bad. Because then you're just a craftsman. Not like you wrote the movie. But I was more referring to if I ever directed a movie or wrote a book or a comic or whatever creative piece of something or other. They would go to the grave never knowing about it.

I'm honest. Maybe sometimes to a fault. I tell my parents everything, and we get in a lot of fights. Keeping things inside always makes me feel kinda sick you know? I'm not a discreet person. Once you're in my circle you know how often I masturbate and when. Well. my parents don't know that. But they know more than most children let their parents know.
