So, for those of you wondering, the fuss in my last entry was a threefold.
First, what I was talking about was finishing Angel (mostly). It's been a huge influence on my life and being over makes me think of all the other things that are ending, and, of course, the show provided me some sense of escape, and that's sort of gone now

And at least you'd be willing to show your family what you created. If I ever made anything that got published or distributed or somehow put into the public's eye I would just hope my family never saw it. Because I'd be worried how it would make me look in their eyes.

As far as "showing" my family my work, it's more that I am at this point thinking I'm going to be in the film industry at some level. In which case, it might be odd to say oh I did the dialogue editing for this documentary but uhm... you guys can't see it.
When I showed my mom the films I made for class her response was. "Is that how you see the world? Full of violence?" I guess I shouldn't ever share my love of Fukasaku with her. Le sigh.
