Here's another top fives picspam, this time of my top five favourite TV characters. Enjoy, everyone! :)

top five tv characters

01. Rose Tyler (Doctor Who)

Rose Tyler was the first TV character I fell in love with, and to this day she's still my all-time favourite. The thing that makes Rose so amazing is that she's just so human. She has flaws and faults, but in the Doctor's eyes she's perfect. If anyone can show you how much people can accomplish, it's Rose. She went from an unknown shopgirl to defender of the earth. I find I can relate to Rose very well. She's a very loveable character, too. She's compassionate beyond belief, she's kind, she's funny, she's cheeky. She's just a lovely, lovely girl. Kudos to Russel T. Davies for creating, in my opinion, the best TV character ever.

02. Donna Noble (Doctor Who)

Donna Noble is also one of my all-time favourite characters, because she's such a great person. At first she comes off as rude and loud and tough, but throughout the show we see the other side of her. The vulnerable, compassionate, caring side. She's probably the best companion for the Doctor so far. Even though he loved Rose, when she was gone, Donna was there to pick up the pieces and bring him back to reality. She stopped him from taking lots of lives, including his own. She got the worst fate of all, but she was also the best companion.

03. Gwen Cooper (Torchwood)

I started off not really caring either way about Gwen. But by the end of the episode "Ghost Machine", I was in love with her. She was one of my favourite characters of Torchwood. It was seeing Children of Earth, though, that brought her up to my absolute favourite Torchwood character. Sure, she's done some bad things, but she's deeply compassionate and cares about every one of her friends, and everyone else who needs compassion. She's such a great character, and though she wasn't much at the beginning of series 1, she's grown into a great character, and I love her so much.

04. Dean Winchester (Supernatural)

Dean is my most recent favourite. He's funny, adorable, smart, and tough as nails. But he's shown his vulnerable side too. I love him because even though he comes off as rough and tough, he's very kind and caring and always wants to help other people. He's a great brother to Sam and cares about him a lot, which is awesome. Did I mention he's also adorable? *squishes*

05. James "Sawyer" Ford (Lost)

When I first started watching Lost, I absolutely hated Sawyer. I thought he was rude and annoying. But within the first few episodes, especially the ones focusing on him, I started to fall in love with him. He showed that underneath the sarcastic, obtuse comments, he's hurting just as much as anyone else on that island. He's bearing a lot of guilt, a lot of anger, and a lot of pain, and eventually he finds he's not afraid to show it. That is why I love Sawyer. Also, he's hilarious. And adorable. Yup.  :)
