The account has had a hold on it thanks to those bastards at Jacobs Realty since January. Since Janurary, the account has ready nearly 8 grand in the hole because of it. Well, Monday was the last day for the hold. After now spending two days on the phone with the bank, come to find *even with* the hold taken off, we're still about 1500 dollars in ( Read more... )

Can you create a free email address and a new Paypal account for it? Get a paycheck advance (from your employer, not from one of those evil loan companies)? Any friends you can stay with for a while so you're not paying for a hotel?

As far as PayPal goes, see my reply to Bill. As far as friends go, I could probably arrange something but my biggest concern right now is saving that storage shed and everything inside it. My life work aka my music collection is in there, my clothes, all Ranada's stuff, everything we had not in her car or this room.

So, did the money people sent to your existing PayPal account get transferred out of it into your bank account? Or is it still in PayPal Limbo?

Oh, it's out and used long since - had to be - for legal fees, hotel expenses and related nonsense while we were trying to get out from this mess and *just* when it did run way low *Bam* that damn block, lien, whatever you want to call it so here we are, five months in and standing to lose everything we own not in the car or in this room, not to mention possibly losing the room all because this has to happen at the precisely half way point until the next paycheck.

I should hasten to add we're suppose to get *back* all the money that shyster screwed us out of, but that's going to take more time than we've got. And setting up a new PayPal account depends on a bank account being available plus the debit card getting here would take longer than we've got to pull this off.
