We went to Koreshan State Park, founded as a cult in the late 90's till the late 60's.
They believed the Earth was concave and that we all lived inside this hollow ball which was layered with 9 levels of metal and gold. The last living member gave up that belief when we placed a man on the moon and pictures of a round Earth were sent back to us.

These pics show the main living house, the one-time café/store which still serves cornbread, 2 lovely wooden bridges which once led to the Victorian Gardens, a Monkey Puzzle tree from Australia and their version of how the Earth looked.
The name "Koresh" (think David Koresh of the Branch Davidians from Waco, TX) is Hebrew for "shepherd".
