First of all, yesterday was shirebound’s birthday! So a belated HAPPY BIRTHDAY to you, darling! After all the years of hearing my sister talk about you, it has been so nice that we have finally gotten to know each other. I hope Pip-Pup gave you lots of snuggles and cuddles. A little birthday love for you…( under the cut. )

I'm glad to know you're watching Vikings, its a good show. I started watching it because it kept appearing on friend's Tumblrs and then it hooked me with characters, history and sexiness.

They reran the first three eps of Vikings, so I grabbed it then because the ads really had me interested and then when I read up about how, you know, history has painted the Vikings so negatively and this show is trying to show the other side of that - I got even more interested.

So far I have just watched the pilot - I am still at that stage where I don't know their names yet, so we have Ragnar and Ragnar's wife and Ragnar's brother and Shipbuilder and Overlord. lol But I like Ragnar's tough decisions, to go where his heart tells him or obey his lord, and I love the thing with the kid where he wants to be a man but isn't quite yet and I really love how badass the wife was.

So I'm liking it a lot so far.

I know, it's exhausting doing All The Things. I felt like I needed to be productive last week since this week The Nephew will be here (tomorrow!) and staying until Saturday and I will be far less productive. I'll be happy if I can get my word count in and go to therapy, tbh. That kids wears me out! ;)

what an awesome phrase! I'm totally going to steal that if you don't mind.lol I would like to take credit for it but it's not actually mine. It was originally a blog, but now it seems to have morphed into a Tumbler. A Flistie of mine knew that in a year her lease would be up and she would be moving and she wanted like five minute things that she could do every day so it wouldn't be so overwhelming when she moved. And she came across this UnFuck Your Habitat blog and started posting about 'today I unfucked the up high kitchen cupboards,' and the like and it inspired me a lot. I started reading the blog a little and that is why this year I decided to spend one afternoon a month doing one little thing around my room. (only one ( ... )
