That post I put up last week, that was a call to arms shout out by wendy to get some action going on LJ again, had me thinking. I have certainly been better about posting the last month or so, since I've started feeling better. But sometimes I still miss entire weeks where I don't post at all. Anytime I hear that song, just the opening beats of it, a nostalgic thrill of love goes right through me. It is possibly the best music cue in television history.

Me too. When the show was all new and shiny. I am a big Monster of the Week fan when it comes to my TV shows, I was with X-Files too.
How I miss not being annoyed by the angels, by that one in particular... You mean Cas? Just because you don't say his name doesn't mean I don't know who you are talking about. Dude, come on, Cas is my boo and you know it. The problem isn't Cas, the problem is the writers/showrunners doing all the wrong things with him. My problem with the show (boys incuded) is that they just keep repeating the same patterns over and over. At least Cas hasn't lost the character growth they managed to give him. I feel so much of the show has just lost all of the growth they put into it in the first five seasons. But ( ... )

Or they can be turned into rocket ships! I gotta see if I can find the pics of the rocket ship my sis and The Nephew built when he was three. We kept that thing for months. He'd go right for it as soon as he came into the house. It was awesome looking and my sister always played NASA command center and worked the radio so he could call into her what was happoening in space. He'd shout in from the porch (where the rocket ship was) "Come in, come in, they are aliens!"

And don't put off newbies off SPN, we need them, you're supposed to recruit more! :-D Plus it got better since second half of S8 (with a very few exceptions - I don't count Bloodlines, it's an abomination that never should have seen the light of the day, it is SPN family's Episode-That-Shall-Not-Be-Named *nods* May we never speak of it again)

She's already in S5, I don't think she's a newbie anymore! I do recruit people, I recruit new people all the time - I just warn them to stop at the end of S5, to spare them the pain I am now suffering from watching my beloved show crash and burn. (I think you underestimate how much S6 messed up my for feelings for this show.)

No, no, no! I say this a Cas-Girl and a Dean/Cas shipper and a Misha lover and a person who is basically only still watching the show because of Cas...Cas should NOT have his own show! That is not going to appease anyone. For one, I want to see Misha go off and use his talents for something outside of the CW, thank you very much. It's time for him to let the trenchcoat go, so to speak. Also, Cas is NOT a lead character! Can you honestly see him carrying a show? Really? Because I love the guy and I can't see it. Part of me wants to watch the latter Supernatural out of morbid curiosity, you know watch them ruin a show I love by the sounds of it. Well I guess if it's not good the men are still pretty #shallow
I'm trying to post to LJ more too, I feel like I've been neglecting it. I might make a post soon. I'm doing some stuff this week, so maybe after that. I have a kidney test tomorrow and an actual social thing Friday! I know you know how rare those can be, I've not really done anything fun since I got my piercing, it's been all medical and boring.
Okay, quick LJ check and then I need to go write about a poly werewolf.

I say only if you know you have the ability to remove your emotions from it, to separate it from the show you used to watch, look at it like fanfic maybe. They are still so, SO pretty though, yes. I swear, half the time it is on, I am just playing on my IPad and I only look up when Dean is having an emotion because Dean so is so pretty when he is having an emotion!

Kidney test itself wasn't painful, getting a line in for the injection was a little painful due to my super crappy veins, took them like half an hour to get one in, my arms are covered in bruises. Laying on the table thing for the scan made my joints hurt to, but the scan part just meant laying there while things moved around above me.
Lol yes only on places like here would I end a message like that. Once again I'm off to work on my poly story, the three main men have decided to rewrite the whole thing and change it from my outline, silly boys.

LOL Sometimes it's a pain in the butt when your characters decide to do their own thing and sometimes it can be awesome and fun. Hope yours turns out awesome and fun!!
