A good friend reminded me today of all that Supernatural has meant to me over the years. So on this day of days, the 10th birthday of a show that changed everything, I'm reposting this story I wrote back in the day, when the show was just that to me: everything. This is a piece with roots in just about every aspect of the show I loved: Family.

Damn, you write Johnny so well. (any chance "Skin Deep" will tempt your Muse to come out of hiding? I'm still hopin'.....)

While I will always adore Dean, I just can't deal with the piss-poor writing anymore. After 2 seasons of just watching the Dean scenes, I couldn't even do that last year. Deleting SPN from my auto-record on the DVR was so weird....

Of course, if Johnny were to return, I'd be there in a heartbeat! And I will no doubt tune in for the series finale....if they ever decide to end things, lol.
