N and I were off work last week - for Easter and the first part of the week we stayed at home, decorating and mooching; Thursday to Monday we went to Edinburgh. (Sorry, scotsbookie, I thought N was going to watch the football on Saturday, and we could have maybe met up, but to my surprise he didn’t

One of the Eritreans was interviewed on Radio 4 news last week because they were stuck in terminal 5, unable to get up to Edinburgh in time for their planned acclimatisation!

I think quite a few of the athletes were caught up in T5. According to the commentator, some of the athletes from a particular country (I can't remember which) made it to Edinburgh, but their kit didn't and they had to borrow vests and shorts.
