Wow, everything happens at once, eh? My mom is being released from the Convalescent hospital Saturday morning, and I am trying to expedite the paperwork to get her moved into the Assisted Living. She seems pretty happy about the arrangement, I told her I chose the best place, it's like a Hilton hotel, and she was happy. I am going to take her to ( Read more... )

I think after the recent experience of the ER, Hospital and then the Convalescent Hospital, this place is looking darn good. It's actually a lovely place, and she will have companionship as well as independence, plus a nice, clean, safe place to live and a/c in the god-awful summer!

That is nice of you to have your mom move in. My mom really wanted to keep her independence, but she accepts her limitations, so this arrangement seems to be best for everyone concerned.

I'm NOT pregnant,...I've been thinking its Thursday all day long, and a pot-pie sounds pretty good.
Instead, I'm debating..re-heated Thai Food from lunch or tuna or chicken or egg-salad.

I still thought it was Friday now instead of Thursday. My baby shower is Saturday, and I told our secretary that I'd see her tomorrow...she assumed I meant at work, but I was thinking the shower! Whoops! At least I remembered to go to the airport tonight! I did get my pot pie last night...comfort! The weather is a bit more pleasant today. Tuesday (was it Tuesday?) was horrid!

I am definitely going to post piccies, I will take the digicam. It's going to be a busy day, once I take mom home then get over to the restaurant. I've been looking forward to a baby shower for ages, even if everything else crashed down on me in the meantime!

OH!! SWEETIE!!! (not from personal experience) I know that being pregnant AND sick is terrible. So sorry for you!! You don't need any more problems!

Well, it's a helluva lot better than 2-3 months of on-and-off barfing, that's for sure! As for the icon, I was searching "baby icons" and found the pregnant woman and thought, yes! :-)
