I liked this piece, you do well with the dialogue-free writing for Snake, gives you a good chance to get into his head. And you write a white-knuckle flyer very well... ;)

Not having seen the movie yet, is the GI Joe headquarters in some sort of ravine or was the sense of descending too long just his inner ear and nerves getting to him?
