If you enjoy procrastinating, not having a soul, and wishing facebook didn't exist, yes it is very much worth doing.

ill second drew and go even further with it. Yes, especially if you meet someone and dont know much about them besides their school and name...you can then proceed to find out who their friends are, what their favorite movies and bands and all of that are, even their political views! And then if that wasnt stalkerish enough, you can look at pictures of them, you can "poke" them (if you don't understand this term, you will if and when you join), also you have the ability to write terribly annoying and embarrassing stuff on peoples' 'walls'. However, if again you meet this person that you, shall we say 'researched' on facebook,...you pretty much have to act like you don't know anything about them still...otherwise you appear to be a stalker. So yes, join...stalk, waste time, and yeah..make a few creepy computer friends. I'll be one ;)
