Thanks for adding me. It took me a minute to remember our conversation in animal_rights about buying puppies.

...and for that matter, that would apply to kittens and certain rodents, as well. Mass breeders suck! All of G's and my cats are rescues, surrenders, and in one case, the cat was a birthday gift from an acquaintance whose cat had had kittens. Our kitties are blessed!

I love dogs, but with 9 cats, a dog would just be a bad idea in my home. :( I get my fix, though: My mom has 4 dogs up in WV.

Too many pets being bred, not enough responsible homes. Ever. If it wasn't for people like you rescuing one here, one there, the situation would be even worse. Bless you for the lives you've touched!

How nice to run into you here on LJ, and nice to hear about what you do. All the critters in my world (horses, dog, cats, birds) are in fact rescues.

I've been peeking in on that little drama a bit, just out of curiosity (shh... don't tell anyone!) and all I can say is, some people do seem to have an insane need to control other people....
