Wow, another Radim Zenkl fan! That makes two of us on LJ, I guess. I don't know why more people aren't into mandolin music. I can never get enough of it, myself.

Yeah, I don't get it either. There's so much that can be done with mandolin. I guess most people associate it only with bluegrass, country and strolling Italian-restaurant musicians (not that there's anything wrong with those).
But I have jazz mandolin, rock mandolin, classical mandolin, etc., in my collection -- and the stuff RZ does, especially on "Strings and Wings," transcends genre.
I saw him once, years ago, in a coffeehouse in Kansas. Hooked ever since.
