The nice lady's husband was taken seriously ill all of a sudden, and so Annabelle will stay here for at least another week (as I'm going on call Tuesday, and won't be able to make any appointments until next Monday, my day off and guaranteed free of the pager

I live outside of Chicago, so no, the hurricanes didn't affect us up here. It's sweet of you to worry about us! I just haven't had time to get to the library lately (no computer of my own at home). I'll try to post more often. Thanks for the encouragement! Best wishes to you too!
