I am going to go through the three zillion pictures I took of her while she was here. *Such* a cutie! My first foster cat...... it was hard. Just because I'd never done it before. And she'd been here so long, I got more attached to her. But I knew it was right. I really miss her today, but I'm really happy for her too. I can't wait to hear how she's doing in her new home!

Yeah, I had such a good feeling about these adopters the minute they walked in the door. And they were absolutely smitten with Annabelle, which is just as they should be. Let's hope hope hope that everything turns out ok.........
Fostering is one of the few animal-related endeavors that I know I couldn't do. I get attached too quickly and I don't think I'd be able to give the critter up when a permanent home was found.
Yeah, tell me about it. I just kept reminding myself that kitten season will come around next summer too. It's always such a struggle to find placement for the cats we pick up. People treat them as even more disposable than dogs. Animals are so pefect. What is wrong with our species?
Glad you're writing again!monsterdivaJanuary 4 2006, 20:51:58 UTC
Hey, I don't have much time to comment on friend's posts and so don't do it very often, but I do read them and I've missed yours'! This one is poignant for me - we are planning an interstate move, not in the near future but in the forseeable future - and are considering finding loving homes here for a couple of long-term animal companions. These are elder ones and we don't think they should be subjected to a long journey by stock trailer at their age. It's a real tough choice for us. Anyhow - nice to see you back on LJ. ...LUNA )O(
